This is your last opportunity to submit proposals for workshop sessions and the Data Expo at the final SJC Research Consortium Symposium, taking place March 10–12, 2026, at the Virgin Hotel in Nashville, TN.
We invite Research Consortium members, reviewers, SJC partners, and guests to submit 60-minute workshop proposals that highlight strategies, findings, and future directions for data-driven systems change. Workshops may address a wide range of themes—including racial and ethnic disparities, effective strategies, public safety, case processing, decision-making, women in the criminal legal system, and data use—or other topics relevant to the network.
We are also accepting submissions for the Data Expo, which will highlight how sites are using the data infrastructure they’ve built to drive empirically-informed research forward. This session will showcase examples of transparent data use, share case studies demonstrating how sites have identified and addressed challenges, and provide practical insights for using data to inform policy, improve practices, and support evidence-driven decision-making.
📅 Submission Deadline: Friday, November 7, 2025 (5:00 p.m. PT)
📍 In-person only | Nashville, TN
All proposals will be reviewed by a committee, with final selections made in partnership with the MacArthur Foundation's Criminal Justice team.
