In this webcast held January 21st, 2020, staff from PRI provided a one-hour webinar on further integrating trauma-informed perspectives into criminal justice work. 

As follow-up to PRI’s abridged How Being Trauma-Informed Improves Criminal Justice System Responses training at the October Network Meeting, Travis and Ashley reviewed the goals of the training and presented new content, as well as provided an overview of a strategic planning tool that sites and organizations can use to work toward trauma-informed responses and systems. Responses to powerful life events may vary based upon individual differences. Some individuals will be resilient in the face of extraordinary adversity, while others will be vulnerable and traumatized by seemingly minor difficulties.
