JMI has collected perspectives from various sites on the response to COVID-19 and we wanted to highlight two additional jurisdictions this week. The attached document provides a short interview with Kelvin Banks, Pretrial Services Director in Harris County, Texas on how his experience with Hurricane Harvey shaped the response to COVID-19. Following Kelvin's interview, we hear from Judge Lori Walkley in Oklahoma's 21st District Court about how they are taking advantage of technology in order to keep cases moving and avoid future backlog.
