In addition to a discussion of the behavioral health strategies included in sites' SJC implementation plans, the report contains collective data from sites' Sequential Intercept Model (SIM) workshops. PRI has facilitated SIM workshops with 23 Implementation Sites and 3 Innovation Sites over the course of the SJC to date, helping them identify opportunities and resources for diverting people with behavioral health needs into community services and away from jails. Take a look at page 6 to see the top gap categories across all SJC SIMs- not surprisingly, crisis response is #1, and was listed as a Top 3 gap in 100% of SJC SIM workshops!
