Effective case management and case processing requires a systemic effort. In this first mini guide from the CasePro Network, JMI discusses the importance of case screening and charging practices in setting the foundation for the system to process and manage cases effectively and in a timely manner. The guide discusses the benefits of intentional screening and charging on prosecutor workload and court caseload, the components of rigorous case screening, examples from prosecutors' offices, and implementation strategies.
