This spring, the CSG Justice Center launched Centering Equity in Financial Sustainability Planning, a structured planning guide and tools, including a searchable database of federal funding opportunities, to support communities meaningfully using an equity lens in their financial sustainability planning. This tool was piloted through a learning community of SJC sites and two of these sites- St. Louis, MO, and Multnomah County, OR- will be presenters in this session to describe how they have incorporated this approach in their own financial sustainability planning and work with participants to discuss what this could look like in their own communities. Participants will leave this workshop with an idea of what it takes to take an equitable approach to financially sustaining their local initiatives.
