We will engage our audience regarding the Shared Legacy of Indigenous displacement & removal and how that has led to high rates of over Criminalization and Incarceration regarding Indigenous Populations. The solutions begin with the rebranding of our Shared Legacy by conscientiously Creating Safe Spaces for Indigenous People to Heal, Grow, & Prosper. The spaces include the decision-making power and the self-determination for Indigenous Peoples that should include some access to the systems and resources in a more equitable fashion, and for us to have some control over how that actually looks.
