For participants who are directly involved with projects focused on racial equity or eliminating racial disparities in local jurisdictions, communities, and justice systems, this discussion-based workshop will acknowledge the particular challenges of working toward racial equity and create space to share those challenges openly, with the hope that others who have experienced similar challenges can offer guidance. The workshop acknowledges both the trouble encountered on the path, and the moral exigency to work toward racial equity in all that we do, and seeks to create a supportive, perhaps troubleshooting community.
