Everyday Democracy will introduce how it uses a Dialogue-to-Change Approach to supports authentic community engagement. We will share how a customized engagement plan, which is reflective of and relevant to the specific needs of a particular community is co-created with system stakeholders, community residents, and supporters to ensure authenticity of that community’s needs and desired outcomes. This approach emphasizes a combination of relational organizing with community, active listening to different viewpoints, and engaging productively in solving and developing priorities for action ideas for community change.
