Hi everyone – After hearing so many great presentations at the SJC Research Symposium in St Louis, I wanted to reach out to make sure everyone is aware of another opportunity to share your work and expertise.
Are you interested in sharing your subject matter knowledge and/or research findings with a broader audience? Would you like to be contacted for media interviews or invited to speak at events or conferences on your area(s) of expertise?
If so, consider applying to join the Crime and Justice Research Alliance (CJRA)!
The CJRA is now part of the National Criminal Justice Association (NCJA) and has been expanded to be more inclusive of a variety of types of experts on issues of crime and justice, including academic researchers, practitioner-researchers, and practitioners. There are a wide variety of topic areas covered by the CJRA ranging from correctional alternatives to violence, issues of diversity, equity, and inclusion, reentry and reintegration, and many others.
More details and the application link can be found here: https://crimeandjusticeresearchalliance.org/about/
I am currently co-chairing the committee working on the CJRA through NCJA, along with Joe Popcun from the New York Division of Criminal Justice Services, and would be happy to answer any questions.
